Hello. I was wondering, how does Hazel handle password protected files/folderes? Would I have to add the password as an action?

What program is providing the password protection? Is this an encrypted disk image or something else?

I may need to do something with an encrypted hard drive, but I also need to do a simple password protection of some folders on my machine. So I guess the best answer is both.

Again, what software is doing the password protection? I'm not aware of any built-in functionality in macOS that does that on folders unless you are using a disk image.

Chances are, you will need to write an AppleScript to interface with said program to unlock the folders but without more details I can't say for sure.

Oh goodness, I thought it was built-in. I'll look into it and let you know. I've never worried about it before, but am beafing up security.
