What script to reboot your mac

Hello,

I am trying to create some scripts to help me recover from app crashes remotely.
I did manage to create a hazel rule that checks a dropbox folder for the existence of a file "quitsafari.txt". The file is empty but it triggers an apple script that shuts down safari.
I am trying to make more of these scripts to help me manage my mac when I am on vacation. Restart apps, start apps stuff like that.
I am not sure how to make a script that sends a reboot command that reboots my mac. Does anyone have any tips? Don't want it to get stuck on apps that fail to close. (transmission for example, or terminal)

Also trying to find a way to reboot my wd mybook live nas drives. havent figured that one out yet.
