Subfolder option missing.

Talk, speculate, discuss, pontificate. As long as it pertains to Hazel.

Subfolder option missing. Tue Mar 28, 2017 11:37 am • by dbux
Hi guys. I'm completely new to Mac. Just found this app and it helps a lot to automate part of my work. Before purchasing I would like to know whether I can apply a Hazel rule to a folder and it's sub-folders. I could see lot of tutorial online with the old Hazel version with the option 'if all of the following conditions are met for current folders and sub-folder'. Why such an option is removed In the newer version? How can I apply my rule to the sub-folders too?

Thanks

It's still there, but only available in a nested condition as described here: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/how-to-cr ... onditions/

The reason for this is that many misinterpreted the setting. For instance, if you want to have Hazel go into subfolders and process the items within, you DO NOT want to use this. There is a totally different mechanism for this as described here: https://www.noodlesoft.com/kb/going-into-subfolders/
