AppSweep & dmg

Talk, speculate, discuss, pontificate. As long as it pertains to Hazel.

Hi !!

I really like AppSweep, and it would be nice if would supports Apps in dmg's too.

Let me explain it, I often test and play with new Apps, and most of them i delete after that. With zipped Apps its no problem, because after I throw into the trash, AppSweep takes care of the rest. :)
Some Apps are in volumes (dmg) and I only start them, and don't take them into the programs-folder, and so AppSweep doesn't take care of the rest.

Thanks

This has come up before. I'll think about it but it will be somewhat resource intensive and quite slow to do this. Thanks for the suggestion though.

For now, throw away the app from the dmg and then eject the dmg. It is an extra step but it's the only way to make Hazel aware of the app being "uninstalled".
