Newbie Q: Sandbox'd Apps

I was hoping to use Hazel watch the 1Password backup folder and copy new backups off to another versioned location. However...the folder is in a Sandbox'd App folder (I think...forgive my loose OSX terminology).

The folder is in /Users/myname/Library/... and when I browse to /Users/myname in the Hazel pane, I don't see a Library.

So I can create a symlink (/Users/myname/1Password_Backups -> /Users/myname/Library/Containers/etc./Backups) and have Hazel watch that symlink'd dir. I tested this solution and it works. I'm just wondering if I've opened up some hideous security hole or if there is a better Hazel way.

Sometimes the Library folder is hidden in Finder. Check out this article on how to unhide it: http://www.macworld.com/article/2057221 ... ricks.html

Once you do that, the symlink shouldn't be necessary.
