As new user to mac with some minor programming experience, what would you say the learning curve is for hazel? I know very little other that it is a powerful tool to automate a lot of maundane file operations, and I'n sure that is sellingit short.

Just mainly curious if it would be something that I would get frustrated with quickly and abandoned? I'm not an IT guys and that seems to be where it excels in from my first impressions.

I don't want to talk you out of a sale, but would just like an honest opinion. I'm mainly looking to auto file and organize my digital hoarding into a a single point that would distributeitems to there proper place quickly.

Thanks in advance.

There is a bit of a learning curve but it depends on how advanced you want to get. I suggest downloading the trial and running it on a test folder to get a feel. If you have specific questions, come back and post them here.
