Does anyone have a rule that will send a notification alert when the folder in question reaches a certain size? The usual rules just work on folders and files that are added to the folder in question as opposed to the main folder.

Please do not post questions in the tips forum. The sticky article at the top warns of not doing this.

As for your question, you can have Hazel monitor one level up and then create a rule to match that folder.
