Add "Run AppleScript" action?

It would be great to have an option to run an AppleScript, as there is in Mail Rules. That would make many other actions possible, but scripts would have to be carefully written unless the action only ran when new items were added, not during periodic folder checks.

Is this posssible?

EDIT: I just saw post #2 in the "Rule Limitations" thread of the Support forum - looking forward to version 1.1.

I tried to check on beta testing in the Announcements forum, but got a message that only moderaters could view it.

Yes, Applescript support is currently being worked on (as well as Automator and shell scripts).

Thanks for the heads up on the Announcements forum. I'm surprised no one mentioned it before. It should be readable by everyone now. If not, then let me know.

Also, over the next couple days I'll start some threads to discuss new features.
