I am thinking of trying to use Hazel to overcome a limitation in iPhoto, that being the lack of a batch ability to set attributes like keywords when photos are imported. Would anyone else find value in the ability for Hazel to be able to set file attributes things like assign Keywords, set copyright notice, and any of the other attributes you can select a file on. My workflow would be to import pictures from an SD card to a folder then have Hazel process that folder setting things like my name, email, copyright notice and other attributes before importing into iPhoto.

Many of those things are contained in the file itself or in iPhoto's database. In either case, it's outside Hazel's purview. I suggest looking into specialized tools that can perform these operations.
