Hi,

I have two .csv files that I am trying to have Hazel rename on a daily basis. The files are automatically generated and the name is always different. Therefore, I have to have Hazel look into the file and find a unique factor to rename the file too. I have found something unique for each file, but for the life of me, I cannot get Hazel to recognize the text inside of the file to rename it. Has anyone have any trouble with Hazel reading text inside of a .csv?

It appears that whatever Spotlight importer handles csv files doesn't seem to actually index the text in them. To test this, try searching for the terms in Spotlight. If the files don't show up in Spotlight's search results, they won't match in Hazel.
