Rule works manually but not automatically: "Attempted to run

Hi everyone,
I’m running into a strange issue where one of my Hazel rules has stopped triggering on its own.
I have a rule watching my "Work" folder (stored in iCloud) that renames and tags PDFs. If I click "Run Rules Now," it works perfectly. If I use the Rule Preview, I get a green checkmark saying the rule matches. However, when I drop a new file into the folder, Hazel just sits there and does nothing.
I checked the logs and I'm seeing this error repeated:
[Error] Attempted to run worker on undeployed folder: /Users/username/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Work
I’m on macOS 15.1 (Sequoia) and Hazel 6.1.1. I've already tried toggling Full Disk Access off and back on again, but it didn't help.
Has anyone else seen this "undeployed folder" error before? Any tips on how to get it to start watching automatically again?
Thanks!

Try the following:

  • Export the rules for that folder.
  • Remove the folder from Hazel
  • Add the folder back into Hazel
  • Import your rules back in and re-enable them.

Reply back if the problem keeps happening after that.
