Can it automatically organize TV episodes into folders?
Hi everyone,
I’m new to Hazel and just started experimenting with rules for managing my media files. My current setup downloads TV episodes into one folder, and I’d like Hazel to automatically sort them into subfolders by show name and season.
For example, when a file like:
Show Name - S01E23 Episode Title.mkv
appears, I want Hazel to move it to:
Show Name / Season 01 /
Is this something Hazel can do using filename patterns and tokens alone, or would this require a script? I’d prefer to keep everything inside Hazel if possible, as I’m not very familiar with shell or AppleScript yet.
Any tips or examples from real-world setups would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
