Looking for an alternative to Evernote

I still use the legacy version because Evernote 10 sadly doesn't support scripting. After installing Ventura 13.30, documents like PDFs are no longer visible in the legacy version: https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/145368-ventura-133-missing-pdf-plugin-when-trying-to-show-note-with-pdf/
That is why I am looking for an alternative to Evernote. Any suggestions?
