I would like to ask for considering to add new feature - possibility to add rules on folder group level. In my Hazel workflow I have multiple folders that share the same Hazel rules. Currently I need to duplicate rules for each folders.

Quick example how I could be accesed via user interface:

Try using rule sync. You can share a rules file between all the folders.

Also, are all these folders under a common folder by chance?

Folders are located in different parts of file system. So it's difficult to add one universal rule searching in subfolders.

But thanks for suggestion about synced rules. I tested it and seems to work fine. I always thought it will work only for rule syncing between devices.

Paul, you rock! I also had no idea that you could use the sync files for multiple monitored folders on the local device. That's incredibly helpful.

Note that right now, there's a limitation in terms of which rules you can set as active. That state is shared when sharing rules on the same machine. Next patch should remove that restriction.
