Apologies if this has already been asked. I did search but couldn’t find exactly what I need.
I’d like to set up a workflow with a watch folder. Whenever files are dropped into that folder, Hazel should pick them up and append their contents to a single master PDF. This master file should act as a continuously growing document, with each new file added to the end. Once the merge/append process is complete, the original files in the watch folder should be moved to the trash.
The file types I’ll be working with are Google Docs, Word documents, PDFs, PNGs, and text files. I have access to Acrobat Pro for the merging process if needed.
The purpose of this is to maintain a single “source” document for ChatGPT, so that as new information comes in, it’s automatically appended into the updated master PDF.
Has anyone already created a solution for this, and if so, could you point me to it?
Thanks in advance.
