Execute on an external device and transfer a folder

Talk, speculate, discuss, pontificate. As long as it pertains to Hazel.

Greetings, I am a novice. I am attempting to develop a rule that will execute on an external device and transfer a folder, subfolder, or files to an alternative disk.

I attempted to use Kind is Folder and Sync; however, it was unsuccessful. I am uncertain as to what I did incorrectly.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Have you read the chapter in the manual on syncing a folder?

Im also new user and I think I want to do the same thing (almost). I want hazel to look in a folder with subfolders after specific file formats extract(move) to another disk. Preferably deleting the folders when empty also.
Asked AI and it gave me an old explanation from a earlier version of this program to check a box but then said something about that it was now a standard for the program to look in sub folders, but it doesn't move the files. (I Made hazel work fine with single folder)

Transparency: My zoom h5 Studio my makes multiple folders when saveing audiofiles (on the same day also come on! )

AI is wrong on all counts here. There was never a checkbox for this and Hazel does not do it by default. Please read the chapter on subfolders in the manual.
