How to create a rule that only applies to files older than 3

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to Hazel and I'm trying to set up a rule that automatically moves files from a specific folder to an archive location — but only if the file is older than 30 days.grade calculator

I’ve looked through the conditions, and I see the “Date Added” and “Date Modified” options, but I’m not 100% sure which one would work best in this scenario. Also, do I need to add any special logic to avoid touching newer files?

Any help or sample rule setups would be greatly appreciated!

It really depends on your needs. Look at the date added and date modified for different files and see which one is more appropriate.
