Triggering a rule on demand

Postby MisterG » Wed Jun 08, 2011 2:49 pm

I'm currently using Keyboard Maestro to help in synchronising two machines. I use a keystroke to start my synchronising app, but I want Hazel to collect the "archived items" (ones which have been moved, but copied to safe folders) into one big folder. TO do this I would have a rule in Hazel ("CleanUp") which I would trigger to run at the end of the Macro.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

If you can have Keyboard Maestro trigger a script, you can set up script to run the "touch" command on the folder. That should trigger a run on that folder.
