Movie vs. TV Show Sorting

For those of us that "find" movies and shows online that are "free" here is a little trick to use with hazel:

Setup a rule to monitor both filetype (movie) and filesize.
As an AVI, There are about 5MB per minute, so a 2 hour movie is 600mb and a 30 minute TV show is 150 MB
As an MPEG, there are about 1.3 MB/minute, so a 30 minute show tends to be 75 MB

I use these rules to automatically sort my downloaded movie files into "Movies" and "TV" and "Clips"

It works 99% of the time.

Thanks for all the tips here and in the other topics. Neat idea, using the file size. While not foolproof, as you said, it will probably work on most of the video files out there.

The ranges that i have found seem to work the best are:

Movies: 500 MB and up
TV Shows: 75 MB - 450 MB
Clips: 75 MB and below

I've tried also using duration, but that seems a little more spotty for videos.
