Is it possible to run Hazel at boot from the command line?

Do you mean trigger a run on a particular folder? It will do it soon after logging in but there's no way to do it before then as it needs to run while a user is logged in.

Hi All and especially Mr_Noodle :-)

Which is the reason why Hazel can't be run at System BootUp ? I understand that Notifications needs a User session opened, but you have done a product which is BETTER than inotify under Linux ;-)

So, did you plan a such feature... or I missed something...

I just bought Hazel today, and I'm so surprised ! Congratulations, it is really an awesome product !

Hazel needs a user session as there are other things it accesses that you can only get with a logged in user. Apple/JavaScript support for instance. Or any sort of inter-application communication like with the iApps.

If you want Hazel to run without having to be that user in the foreground, look into Fast User Switching where you can log in as that user and then switch to the user you actually want to use on the console.
