Time Capsule rule?

Time Capsule rule? Mon Nov 12, 2012 9:04 am • by rspike1278
Hi guys
I've a problem with my Time Capsule, It has a 2TB hard drive that I use as multimedia storage on my LAN.
Sometimes when I put mac in stop, Time Capsule unmounts and I can't find it anymore in my finder.

Is there any rule I can create with Hazel to monitor the TC's main folder and tell Hazel to mount it every time TC will disappear from the finder?
:?: :?: :?:

I've a script to mount my TC but I don't know which rule I have to create to monitor when TC disappear!

many thanks

You can try monitoring /Volumes. It's a hidden folder so in the open dialog, you need to type / which will bring up a field where you can enter the rest of the path. That said, it won't work if the drive disappears since there is no entry in /Volumes to match.

I think it might be better to try and solve the root of the problem. Look into using the automounter or somesuch.
