ScanSnap > Devonthink > Hazel

Talk, speculate, discuss, pontificate. As long as it pertains to Hazel.

Hello, happy new year to all !

I would like to set Hazel renaming actions/rules to work on folders within a DevonThink database, after the files in it have been imported from a ScanSnap scanner, and OCRd.
I would like then to move and/or rename them with Hazel.

Unfortunatly, Hazel doesn't seem to be able to access to files within a DT database, is it correct ?

So, is there a workaround ? Thanks for your help.

I would highly recommend against having Hazel process files within another apps private database. It would be better if you had Hazel do its job before importing the files into DEVONthink.

Thanks.

I found another way by processing files in folders not imported, but indexed by DT. Works fine.
